Almundo, part of the CVC Argentina group, has partnered with low-cost airline Flybondi to offer a 20% discount on domestic flights for residents of Jujuy province. The announcement was made to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Jujuy during a virtual meeting attended by key representatives from both organizations.

The initiative aims to make air travel more accessible for residents in the provinces and promote regional mobility and tourism within Argentina. The discount is available at Almundo’s 180 physical stores nationwide, including its branch at Balcarce 272 in Jujuy.

Diego García, director of CVC Corp Argentina, stated: “This alliance with Flybondi reinforces our commitment to bringing travel opportunities to every corner of the country. We want more people to connect with new destinations in an accessible way, supported by our stores throughout Argentina.”

Federico Posadas, Minister of Culture and Tourism, highlighted the importance of increasing flight routes as part of broader growth strategies: “The growth in air connectivity, especially with partners like Almundo and Flybondi, is key as it allows us to achieve superior results and, fundamentally, ensure the sustainability of decisions we make for the tourism sector. Furthermore, we are convinced that competitiveness is a factor that boosts markets and translates into direct benefits for our people. The new rates and special discounts for Flybondi residents, for example, directly benefit the community by providing citizens of Jujuy with more options and accessibility.”

Flybondi’s Commercial Director Federico Pastori added: “At Flybondi we work so that our purpose—giving everyone the freedom to fly—reaches more people. That’s why we celebrate this alliance with Almundo, which allows us to generate new travel opportunities and continue promoting domestic tourism.”

The discount applies on all national Flybondi routes departing from provincial cities towards Buenos Aires or between other points within Argentina. Passengers can use it for one-way or round-trip tickets on any date through December 31, 2026. To receive the benefit, travelers must show proof of residency in either their departure or arrival city when purchasing tickets by presenting their national ID.

Almundo operates as a major omnichannel travel technology company offering digital platforms for booking and managing trips alongside its extensive branch network across Argentina. It is part of CVC Corp—the largest travel group in Latin America—which includes multiple brands serving vacationers as well as corporate clients.

Flybondi began operations in January 2018 as Argentina’s first low-cost airline. It serves both domestic and select international destinations such as Brazil, Paraguay, and Peru. Its principal investor is COC Global Enterprise.
