The Argentina Women’s Cerebral Palsy (CP) Football Team held its annual training camp in Jujuy, according to an April 11 announcement. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the team has chosen Jujuy as the location for its preparations.
The team’s activities included a week-long schedule of intensive training sessions at the Luz y Fuerza Complex. In addition to physical preparation, players participated in educational workshops and development sessions held in Perico and Palpalá. Organizers said these efforts aimed to support both athletic performance and the overall growth of each player.
Thirteen athletes made up this year’s squad, with four hailing from Jujuy: Esmeralda Velazquez, Brisa Chaile, Amira Salvatierra, and Nazarena Torres. The roster also featured Ana Orozco, Victoria Chaparro, Magali Vega, Milagros Milichi, Agustina Caligari, Brenda Vaca, Mirna Gonzalez, Maia Ojeda, and Selene Benitez.
Coaching responsibilities were led by Marcos MartÃnez alongside Johana Bravo. Both staff members supported every stage of the team’s work during the camp.
According to organizers, “the Government of Jujuy through its Sports Secretariat continues strengthening adapted sports as a tool for inclusion, equal opportunity and human development,” adding that it promotes environments where every athlete can grow and represent their province.
