The Argentina Women’s Cerebral Palsy (CP) Football Team held its annual training camp in Jujuy during the week of April 11, marking the fourth consecutive year the province has hosted the squad.

The team’s visit to Jujuy included a series of activities such as training sessions at Complejo Luz y Fuerza and educational workshops in Perico and Palpalá. These activities aimed to improve both athletic performance and personal development among players.

This year’s roster featured 13 athletes, with four players from Jujuy: Esmeralda Velazquez, Brisa Chaile, Amira Salvatierra, and Nazarena Torres. The rest of the team included Ana Orozco, Victoria Chaparro, Magali Vega, Milagros Milichi, Agustina Caligari, Brenda Vaca, Mirna Gonzalez, Maia Ojeda, and Selene Benitez. Marcos Martínez served as head coach alongside Johana Bravo.

According to the press release, “the Government of Jujuy through its Sports Secretariat continues to strengthen adapted sports as a tool for inclusion, equal opportunity and human development by promoting spaces where each athlete can grow and represent their province with pride.”

The ongoing support from local authorities highlights efforts to promote inclusive sports programs within the region.
