Two armed individuals carried out a violent robbery in San Pedro de Jujuy on April 6, according to information available. The incident took place at a residence near Avenida del Trabajo, which connects the city with La Esperanza.

The event is significant as it involved forceful entry and left the victim restrained during the theft. Such incidents raise concerns about security in residential areas.

According to initial reports, the assailants entered the home and subdued a man, holding him hostage and tying him up while they proceeded with the robbery. The suspects stole at least 100,000 pesos in cash along with other valuable items before fleeing the scene.

Police officers and members of the Investigations Brigade responded to an alert after the crime. They began collecting evidence and statements at the location to identify those responsible through work coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

While authorities have not officially confirmed the total amount stolen, it is believed that it could be substantial. The investigation remains ongoing as law enforcement seeks further leads.
