Banco de la Nación Argentina has introduced a new credit line to support businesses in meeting their year-end bonus payment obligations. The initiative targets both small and medium-sized enterprises (MiPyMEs) as well as large companies across all economic sectors.
The bank is offering loans in Argentine pesos with a term of up to 150 days and a single disbursement, specifically for the payment of the Annual Complementary Salary (Sueldo Anual Complementario, S.A.C.). Companies that pay at least 50% of their payroll through Banco Nación will be eligible for a preferential fixed interest rate of 35%. For other companies, the rate will be set at 50%.
There is no regulatory limit on the amount of financing available; each application will be evaluated individually. The loan can cover up to 100% of the payroll for accounts held at Banco Nación.
According to the bank, “With this tool, Banco Nación supports companies by helping reduce costs, bolster business activity and economic development in the country, and promote concrete financial solutions for Argentina’s productive sectors.”
