The Alejandro Bustillo Art Gallery at Banco Nación will open an exhibition titled “Los pintores del Rey” by artist Ricardo Ajler on Tuesday, November 4, at noon. The event will take place in the main hall of the bank’s central building.
The exhibition will run until November 28 and can be visited from Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. It features a selection of paintings, drawings, engravings, and caricatures that reflect Ajler’s creative range. The works include depictions of the human figure, cityscapes, and landscapes. According to Ajler, the exhibition “proposes a meeting between those who accompany us —the portrayed, the teachers, the absent— and the time that leaves its mark on paper and memory.”
Ajler is known for his work as a painter, draftsman, portraitist, and illustrator. His art is based on figurative observation of the world around him. His precise lines aim to capture both visible features and inner character traits in subjects such as magicians, wanderers, artists, and various faces both famous and unknown.
