The fourth edition of the Binational Festival will bring together communities from Argentina and Bolivia for a day of music, food, and crafts. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, starting at 7 a.m., at Los Hitos 13 y 14 in Valle de Marte. Entry to the festival is free.
The festival aims to promote cultural exchange between the two countries through contests in gastronomy, crafts, music, weaving, and traditional rituals known as mismidas. Activities will take place on both the Bolivian and Argentine sides of the border, with local artists presenting traditions from this frontier region.
Visitors can explore both circuits to experience the flavors, textures, and sounds that define these neighboring communities. The celebration highlights woven crafts and regional dishes as key elements of shared cultural identity.
“The event seeks to strengthen binational ties and highlight shared cultural heritage,” according to organizers from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Jujuy.
For further information about the festival, interested parties are encouraged to contact either the Community President at 388 520 1666 or the Tourism Representative at 388 540 5953.
