The Biblioteca “Niños Pájaros” organized an Easter event for children and teenagers, according to an April 9 announcement. The activity was led by teachers at the community institution, who worked together with participants to prepare traditional Easter cakes as part of a day focused on sharing.
Teachers and guides provided ingredients and helped students follow recipes for making the cakes. Organizers said everyone participated fully in both body and spirit, helping create a memorable Sunday decorated with cream and colorful candies. The session also included painting Easter eggs, allowing children to express themselves through art.
Another initiative took place at the “Waway Wasi” kindergarten, described as an inclusive space where learning is ongoing. Children there met the Easter Bunny and engaged in stories, conversations, and games designed to spark curiosity and imagination.
The program continued with exploring different colors, shapes, and meanings of Easter eggs. Children had opportunities to observe, decorate, and creatively express themselves before participating in an egg hunt throughout the garden on the third day.
Organizers say these activities offered children meaningful ways to learn about traditions while fostering creativity through hands-on experiences.
