The main cultural spaces and centers in the capital of Jujuy announced on Apr. 8 a schedule for this week that includes art workshops, exhibition openings, and ongoing displays. The program offers both free and paid activities open to the entire community.

The initiative aims to provide opportunities for artistic training and enjoyment across different venues. Organizers say the events are designed to engage residents of all ages in creative experiences.

At the Centro de Arte Joven Andino (C.A.J.A.), several workshops will be held: a theater workshop for young people and adults led by Damián Zanin on Thursday, Apr. 9, and Tuesday, Apr. 14 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; a tribute to Libertad Demitropulos on Thursday at 6:00 p.m., which is free; a mixed techniques workshop with Facundo Cañazares on Monday, Apr. 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; a talk with Lisandro Alejo about “Tabula de bolsillo” at 7:00 p.m.; and the “Crecemos Pintando” painting workshop by Nayla Ramírez on Wednesday, Apr. 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., all at Alvear Street No.534.

Casa de las Letras will offer literary activities such as a reading workshop led by Matilde Almada on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., an event inviting writers and publishers for the Buenos Aires International Book Fair coordinated by Florencia Rocío Cari on Friday at 7:00 p.m., a meeting of the Federation of Popular Libraries Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m., Elsa Tapia’s singing workshop “El canto con caja” Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m., and a meeting of local authors group JA (Jujeños Autores) Wednesday at the same time—all taking place at Belgrano Street No.1327 with free admission.

Casa Silvetti – Espacio de Arte presents its new exhibition titled “Landscapes from the Artistic Heritage Collection of Jujuy Province.” The exhibit runs February through March weekdays between 8 a.m.–8 p.m., is open without charge, and is located at Canónigo Gorriti Street No.295.

Organizers said these cultural spaces maintain an active schedule that supports both education in arts as well as public participation.
