The Provincial Board of Teacher Qualification announced on March 10 that the definitive Unique Order of Merit List (LUOM) for Secondary and Higher Education levels will be published on March 13.
This publication is important because it allows schools across the province to begin offering positions and teaching hours needed to complete their teaching staff for the current academic year.
According to the Board, creating the LUOM involves a technical process that includes reviewing and classifying teachers’ records. The goal is to ensure each professional appears with the correct score based on their career, background, and current regulations.
For the first time, the lists will include teachers of Artistic Subjects, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and Sociology. This addition will enable these educational tracks to be staffed in various institutions.
The release of this definitive list marks a key step in organizing staffing for schools at both secondary and higher education levels.
