The Directorate of Early Childhood Education has completed a series of regional meetings aimed at developing a new Academic Framework for Early Childhood Education Institutions. This document, together with the Organizational Regulations, is intended to update current regulations and provide guidance to improve educational practices in all early childhood classrooms.
A total of 22 meetings were held across various locations, including San Salvador de Jujuy, Libertador General San MartĆn, San Pedro de Jujuy, Abra Pampa, PalpalĆ”, El Carmen, Humahuaca, and La Quiaca. Approximately 1,100 teachers and administrators participated in working groups focused on reading, reflection, and making significant contributions to regulatory updates. Supervisors from the Early Childhood Level and members of the Department of Curriculum Development provided support during these sessions.
Carolina Lui Saravia, Director of Early Childhood Education, was present at each meeting. She opened the sessions and outlined the framework for collaborative work. The technical-pedagogical team coordinated activities at each site by recording contributions and addressing specific needs from different regions while encouraging respectful dialogue.
During these working groups, participants discussed common observations about the levelās challenges and institutional tensions. They also shared perspectives on how to strengthen educational practices across different roles within early childhood education.
With these meetings concluded, the next phase will involve organizing all input received in order to finalize a document that will guide pedagogical and organizational work throughout the province.
