Daniela Teseira, the Minister of Education, visited several schools in Santa Clara to assess their current conditions and identify urgent needs. The visit took place on Thursday and included stops at School No. 356 “José Hernández,” High School No. 10 “Francisco Luna,” and the Rural School Mediated by ICT No. 5 in Sauce Guacho.
During her visit, Teseira met with school leaders, teachers, and staff to evaluate building conditions, discuss pressing issues, and review progress on clearing overgrown areas.
The minister emphasized the importance of being present in communities across the province. She stated that her administration is focused on listening directly to each school’s concerns, making concrete commitments, and working toward solutions that improve teaching and learning environments.
Local mayor Antonio Alaniz joined the tour to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the municipality. Technical Pedagogical Advisor Marcela Gámez and Logistics Area Chief Javier Taglioli also participated in the visits.
“The importance of ‘being present’ and maintaining direct contact with educational communities throughout the province is essential,” said Teseira. “Our central focus is to personally listen to each school’s demands, make concrete commitments, and move forward with solutions that ensure better teaching and learning conditions.”
