The Ministry of Education, led by Daniela Teseira, met with representatives from Banco Macro on March 10 to discuss joint efforts aimed at promoting financial inclusion and education in the province.
The meeting focused on strengthening ongoing collaboration between the ministry and the bank. Teseira outlined her main management strategies and suggested developing shared projects to provide students with financial training tools. The discussion included enhancing existing work related to financial education, particularly during the Fiesta Nacional de los Estudiantes.
Participants also considered expanding training opportunities on financial topics for Higher Education Institutions and school cooperatives. The goal is to equip these groups with knowledge that supports better management practices and responsible decision-making.
Attendees at the meeting included Marcela Gaméz, pedagogical advisor for the ministry; Andrea Madariaga, divisional manager for Banco Macro in Jujuy; and Jorge Cabrera, leader of Government Division Jujuy.
These discussions reflect a broader effort to improve access to financial education across different educational levels in Jujuy. Future steps may include new collaborative projects and expanded training sessions.
