The Ministry of Education announced on March 13 that it is coordinating administrative and pedagogical measures for the upcoming 75th edition of the National Student Festival. Minister of Education Daniela Teseira held a key meeting with the director of the Permanent Autonomous Entity to set guidelines for teacher and student participation this year.
A main point discussed was the formal request for a list of advisory teachers by May. This step aims to allow early issuance of official resolutions and ensure that substitute teachers are appointed immediately when regular teachers are involved in festival activities. “The objective is that students do not remain without teachers in the classroom during the time advisors accompany the construction of floats,” said Minister Teseira.
The ministry also confirmed that the National Student Festival will take place from September 16 to 26, following the current school calendar, and will feature 84 floats.
For this year’s Youth Congress, new social impact themes will be included, focusing on inclusive education, socio-emotional skills, and digital and school coexistence policies.
These preparations reflect an effort to maintain educational continuity while supporting student engagement in cultural events.
