The Ministry of Education held a training session on March 28 for 130 third-grade teachers who are part of the Escuelas Alfa en Red program. The event, titled “Formación: Uso pedagógico de la plataforma AcompaƱar,” took place at the Salón de la Escuela Normal āJuan Ignacio Gorritiā and involved collaboration with the national formative evaluation team.
The session aimed to introduce and promote the use of the AcompaƱar platform as a key tool for managing evaluative practices. Organizers said that this digital resource helps teachers record evidence of student learning, monitor educational progress, and make better decisions in the classroom.
Carolina Requelme, Secretary of Educational Management, said, āthis is a possibility more to learn using technology, and this program as a tool for formative evaluation is ideal to bring into the classroom.ā She also thanked all participating teachers for their involvement and commitment.
Natalia Quiroga, Secretary of Strategic Planning, said these spaces are valuable because they allow educators to rethink and improve teaching practices in technology-mediated environments. Quiroga emphasized that working together among principals, supervisors, and technical staff is important.
The training was led by Laura Melchiorre, coordinator of evaluation; and MarĆa Breuer Moreno, specialist in literacy and evaluationāboth from national teams.
