The Ministry of Education has organized a working group to address the process for appointing management positions in Technical and Agrotechnical Schools. The initiative aims to update and create regulations that protect the rights and procedures specific to this educational sector.
During the meeting, participants discussed the implementation of the Technical Professional Education Law and examined issues related to filling leadership roles. The goal is to improve institutional management and strengthen educational quality in these schools.
The ministry’s efforts are intended to establish clear and specific regulatory frameworks that support school leadership teams. This approach seeks to provide greater predictability and transparency in administrative processes.
Those attending the first session included Carolina Requelme, Secretary of Educational Management; Marcela GĆ”mez, Technical Pedagogical Advisor; Silvia JerĆ©z, Director of Secondary Education; MarĆa Eugenia Torramorel, Director of Technical Education; Carolina Sued, President of the Provincial Board for Teacher Qualification; as well as union representatives from CEDEMS, UDA, and AMET.
