The Ministry of Education held a training session for school leadership teams from Region II on March 20 in the town of Uquía. The event was organized by the technical team from the Systems department and focused on introducing the NEXO platform, an integrated management system designed to improve administrative processes in educational institutions across the province.
The training is part of a broader effort to implement NEXO, which aims to streamline and optimize the administration of staff structures within schools. The platform allows for comprehensive registration and monitoring of all personnel, including positions, schedules, services, and unique records for both teaching and non-teaching staff as well as school administrators.
During the session, participants were introduced to a human resources module that will enable them to manage administrative requests such as appointments, terminations, leave requests, and daily updates. This tool is expected to simplify procedures and enhance organizational efficiency within schools.
Martín Miranda, director of the Systems area, said: “La capacitación incluyó instancias prácticas y acompañamiento personalizado, contemplando las distintas realidades en relación al acceso y uso de herramientas digitales, con el objetivo de garantizar una implementación progresiva en todas las instituciones.”
The Ministry plans to continue supporting schools throughout the gradual rollout of this digital platform.
