EJESA announced on April 7 that there will be scheduled power outages in the towns of Volcán and Perico this Wednesday, as part of its investment and service optimization plan.

The company said these temporary interruptions are necessary to ensure worker safety and the effectiveness of planned improvements. The outages are expected to affect specific areas in both towns during the morning and early afternoon hours.

In Volcán, Bárcena Norte and nearby areas will experience a power cut from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In Perico, work will focus on the area around the GIRSU Plant, with an estimated outage from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

EJESA advised residents that electricity supply will be restored automatically once maintenance is complete. The company also recommended unplugging non-essential electrical devices to prevent technical issues when service returns.

According to EJESA, these activities are part of ongoing preventive maintenance aimed at stabilizing the network and improving electric service quality across the province.
