On Friday, October 31, the evaluation process for entry into first year in 2026 was held simultaneously at 15 educational institutions. Parents and students arrived at the schools, where they were welcomed by officials from the Ministry of Education, school leaders, and teaching teams.
Students were divided into groups and provided with a set of school supplies to complete the assessment. The evaluation consisted of two modules: Language and Mathematics.
Minister Serrano visited several institutions in San Salvador de Jujuy to support school leaders during the implementation of the assessment system.
She stated that this evaluation is “a system created and maintained by the Ministry of Education with pedagogical support and coordination between primary and secondary levels, aiming to strengthen educational quality and maintain curricular equity and justice.”
Speaking with parents and guardians waiting at the schools, she said: “We work hard so that these evaluations allow us to understand what our children have learned. I ask you to support them calmly because these challenges are opportunities for growth.”
She added: “People do not fail; projects do,” offering reassurance to parents and guardians as they await results, which will be announced on November 6.
