The first day of the Expo Educativa 2025 brought together educational institutions, teachers, students, and members of the public in an event that highlights education as a key factor for the future.
Held at Ciudad de las Artes, the expo featured more than 40 stands showcasing academic programs, vocational guidance, and interactive workshops. These offerings were aimed at secondary school graduates and young people interested in continuing their studies in Jujuy. Technical careers, teaching degrees, and university courses were presented through practical demonstrations and experiences.
A notable session was the workshop “Brújula de sentido: develando la visión profesional,” organized by IES N°7 Populorum Progressio In-Te-La. The workshop encouraged participants to reflect on the importance of philosophy in professional life. According to organizers, “the purpose of the meeting was for participants to understand that concepts such as ethics, knowledge, and existence strengthen critical thinking and provide academic rigor to face present challenges and build a solid purpose in their chosen field.”
Public attendance indicated strong community interest in education as a pathway for professional, economic, and cultural development in the region. Organizers stated that “the massive participation of the people of Jujuy demonstrated once again that education is the essential path for professional, economic and cultural development of the region, and the best tool to train committed, creative young people who will be protagonists of the future.”
Students from seven out of eleven campuses of Escuela Rural N°3 attended thanks to arrangements made by the provincial government through its Ministry of Education.
The event also included an artistic performance by Escuela de Danzas “Norma Fontenla” in the evening. The closing featured a fashion show presented by 2025 graduates from IES N°11.
