Federation of Secondary School Student Centers installs new leadership for 2026

The Marcos Paz Hall of the Legislature hosted the inauguration of new leaders for the Federation of Secondary School Student Centers (Fe.C.E.N.S.) for the 2026 term.

The ceremony began with the Argentine National Anthem. Outgoing president Eliana Ramos delivered a farewell message, expressing pride in her work and gratitude to all institutions that supported Fe.C.E.N.S. projects over the past year. She also congratulated incoming officials and encouraged students “to participate, get involved, question things, and take an active role in their educational communities.”

During the event, Fe.C.E.N.S. presented special recognitions to deputies Adriano Morone and Agustina GuzmĆ”n; provincial youth director DarĆ­o D’Antuane; and Miriam Serrano. The organization thanked them “for their valuable contribution to the institutional recognition of Student Centers as legitimate spaces for representation, democratic participation, and building youth citizenship.”

Newly elected president Luz Ariadna Ɓlvarez from Provincial Technical School No. 1 ā€œAristóbulo Vargas Belmonteā€ and vice president Santiago Hugo Eduardo Maldonado from Provincial Agricultural School No. 1 – El Brete took their oaths alongside other members of the new board.

The Ministry of Education extended congratulations to the new authorities and stated its ongoing commitment: “The Ministry of Education congratulates the newly appointed authorities and reaffirms its commitment to continue working together, promoting consensus, and setting new goals that strengthen support, guidance, and active student participation throughout every corner of the province.”
