Industrias Metalúrgicas Ferrigutti inaugurated its new plant in the city of Palpalá on March 28, marking a significant investment in infrastructure and technology for the company. The event took place at the Industrial Park and was led by engineer Renato Ferrigutti, representing the third generation of the family business.
“This is a great dream come true. It is a milestone for our family to be able to inaugurate the largest industrial plant in northern Argentina,” Renato Ferrigutti said during the ceremony.
The company has operated since its founding in the mid-20th century and has focused on metalworking activities. “We have been working since the 1950s, and today we are taking another step with modern facilities that meet high standards of quality and production,” Ferrigutti said.
The new facility aims to supply key sectors such as mining, cement production, and construction. “We are strongly committed to mining, cement industry, and our long-standing clients from the province,” he said.
Ferrigutti also emphasized local impact through job creation: “We have around 100 workers between plant operations and technical areas, all of whom are from this province.”
Despite current economic challenges, Ferrigutti stressed ongoing investment as crucial for regional development. “We know how to work hard and invest in what we are passionate about. We believe this is the right time to grow alongside productive projects developing across this region,” he said.
Looking ahead, Ferrigutti stated that they aim to become a key supplier supporting growth within mining and other strategic industries. “We are at a crucial moment with new projects underway, and we want to meet that demand,” he concluded.
