Former captain of Las Leonas, María Magdalena Aicega, was recognized by the Legislature of Jujuy during her visit to the province on March 28. Aicega came to Jujuy to deliver a motivational talk and received a Declaration of Legislative Interest for her career and engagement with attendees at the Estadio Olímpico de Palpalá.
The recognition highlights the significance of accomplished athletes sharing their experiences with local communities. Such visits are seen as motivating for both established and aspiring athletes in regions like Palpalá.
It is always special when athletes of Magui’s caliber come to our province, especially when they share their experiences; it becomes double motivation in a city with so many athletes and promising talents like Palpalá).
When people see athletes they always see the final achievement but it is much more than that; there will be more times you lose than win and you should never give up because you must keep trying until you reach that long-awaited goal).
Aicega was accompanied at the event by Deputy María Uriondo.
