Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy defeated Agropecuario 2-1 as visitors, becoming the leader of Zone B in the Primera Nacional, according to an April 12 report. The goals for Gimnasia were scored by Mauro Cachi and Cristian Menéndez.

The match began with Tomás Lecanda scoring for Agropecuario just a minute and a half into the game. However, Gimnasia responded quickly when Cachi equalized shortly after. In the second half, Menéndez secured victory for Gimnasia with a goal just thirty seconds after play resumed.

The team led by Hernán Pellerano managed to control the pace of the game through effective ball possession. This result places Gimnasia at the top of Zone B with 18 points.

Tristán Suárez remains close behind in second place with 15 points and one less match played. Tristán Suárez could reach first place if they win their upcoming game against Atlético Rafaela scheduled for Monday at 8 p.m.

Looking ahead, Gimnasia will host Almagro at Estadio 23 de Agosto on Sunday, April 19. Meanwhile, Agropecuario is set to visit Atlético Rafaela.
