Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy is finalizing preparations for its upcoming match against Agropecuario, aiming to maintain its winning streak and continue recent improvements in performance, according to an April 9 report.

The match is considered important as both teams are direct competitors. The squad has increased the intensity of training sessions with the goal of not dropping points against a strong opponent.

Team captain and defender Guillermo Cosaro discussed the challenges they expect to face in Carlos Casares. Cosaro described Agropecuario’s players as tough opponents who are usually strong at home. He said the team will need to approach the game intelligently in order to secure three points for their province.

Cosaro also reflected on his personal performance, expressing satisfaction after scoring a key goal in their previous game. He said this individual achievement contributed to growing collective confidence following two consecutive victories.

The group’s objective is to assert itself regardless of location. Cosaro said weekly training focuses on building strength across all lines, and he acknowledged that despite recent positive results, there is still room for improvement before reaching the level desired by the coaching staff.
