The Government of Jujuy announced on April 3 its continued support for the Copa Zorritos, a youth sports tournament organized by Club Atlas. The event brings together teams from across Jujuy and other provinces in the region.
Organizers say that government backing is essential to maintaining and expanding the tournament. They specifically recognized the work of Gustavo Carrasco, head of the Directorate of Management within the Governor’s Office, for ongoing support.
This collaboration aims to strengthen opportunities for children and young people to connect through sport while also encouraging tourism. The participation of delegations from provinces such as Salta, Santiago del Estero, and Chaco highlights the national scope of the event.
Each year, more teams join Copa Zorritos, which organizers say is becoming an important fixture in Argentina’s sporting calendar.
With sustained support from provincial authorities, Copa Zorritos continues to grow as a space for community engagement and athletic development.
