The government announced on April 10 the opening of registration for the Educational Voucher program for the 2026 school year. Families with children up to 18 years old attending private schools with state subsidies are eligible to apply, provided their household income does not exceed seven minimum wages. The deadline to register is April 30.

The initiative aims to support families who send their children to privately managed schools that receive at least a 75% state contribution at initial, primary, or secondary levels. Eligible applicants must be Argentine citizens or foreign residents with at least two years of legal residence in the country.

To qualify, families’ total income cannot surpass $2,504,600 based on the latest minimum wage figures. The voucher covers only school tuition fees and does not include materials, uniforms, or extracurricular activities. It is compatible with other government benefits such as Universal Child Allowance and family allowances.

More than twenty educational institutions in Jujuy are included in this year’s program across various levels of education. Some of these schools are Colegio Antonio María Gianelli (including its initial and primary levels), Colegio Católico Cristo Rey, Colegio del Salvador (initial, primary and secondary), Colegio FASTA Ing. José María Paz, Colegio Martín Pescador, Instituto de Rehabilitación Dra. Norma Beatriz Issa, among others.

Registration is digital and free through the official website voucherseducativos.educacion.gob.ar using credentials from the Mi Argentina app. Applicants must complete personal details for each child and provide an active bank account registered with ANSES where funds will be deposited after verification by ANSES and the Secretariat of Education.

Payments will be made monthly until December 2026 via bank transfer or virtual wallet—one voucher per eligible child. If a student accumulates two unpaid installments, benefits are suspended until debts are settled; three missed payments result in permanent cancellation of that year’s voucher.
