The Ministry of Health announced on March 30 that the selection process for filling vacant positions in the public health system of Jujuy is moving forward, with applications and information available online through the ministry’s website.

This development is important as it addresses staffing needs across various regions of Jujuy, aiming to strengthen healthcare services according to local requirements. The process is intended to promote transparency and ensure qualified professionals join the system.

Florencia Forte Abed, provincial director of Human Capital, said, “In this last four-month period different calls for applications were made to fill vacant positions in the Ministry of Health for different regions that make up the Province of Jujuy and according to care requirements as well as promotion and prevention needs in our facilities taking into account population needs.”

Recent calls included competitions based on background and examination for 34 technical roles and 32 professional roles such as psychology graduates, kinesiologists, social workers, nutritionists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, health agents, laboratory technicians and statistics technicians. Forte Abed said most successful candidates have already joined the public system while a group will be incorporated soon after official appointment: “The majority of applicants who participated in these competitions and won have already been incorporated into the public system while a group remains to be incorporated shortly once effective appointment is completed.”

Forte Abed emphasized transparency: “Each call allows transparency in the process since they are carried out through the website of the Ministry of Health and registrations are virtual. Those interested can periodically visit our page where we publish calls with all requirements,” she said. She also noted new opportunities would open in April: “The intention and interest of the health department is to strengthen all regions according to Strategic Plan guidelines; new calls will open in April.”

Applicants undergo assessments based on training and work experience along with written or oral evaluations related to their profession. All announcements are published on the official website where interested professionals can access regulations and specific application details. Applications must be submitted digitally.
