The Provincial Institute of Games of Chance of Jujuy (INPROJUY) announced on March 31 that it is recognizing the work of the 118 official agencies across the province as part of the annual Day of the Agenciero, celebrated each year on the first Saturday after Easter.
This day is not only a celebration but also an opportunity to reflect on the strategic role that agencieros play in maintaining a legal and regulated gaming system. INPROJUY said these agents provide essential support for transparent, secure, and regulated operations in Jujuy.
Each agency serves as more than just a sales point; it is described as a place that connects with local communities, provides employment opportunities, and helps build a system that encourages responsible gaming and social development. INPROJUY said families rely on this activity for their economic livelihood, contributing to both provincial growth and an expanding network reaching from urban centers to rural areas.
Recent initiatives have been introduced by INPROJUY to modernize agency operations. These include implementing QR code payment systems for easier transactions, launching a Quick Guide for Responsible Gaming to raise awareness and prevent problems, developing an institutional chatbot for faster responses to agency inquiries, starting incentive plans to boost sales in the sector, and organizing agency contests tied to Responsible Gaming Day.
According to INPROJUY, these measures are part of ongoing policies focused not only on regulation but also continuous support for those involved in legal gaming activities. The institute emphasized its commitment “to continue working towards legal, transparent, and responsible gaming that builds community trust and collective well-being.” The statement concluded by recognizing every agenciero as “a true ally in building a system where legal and responsible gaming brings tangible benefits back to society.”
