The Instituto de Seguros de Jujuy (ISJ) announced on April 3 that it will hold a meeting with health service providers to discuss key topics affecting their institutional relationship, including the payment for health services.
The meeting aims to reaffirm ISJ’s commitment to strengthening its ties with providers and ensuring quality care for its members. The agenda will focus on important issues such as timely payments and ongoing collaboration between the institute and medical professionals.
According to ISJ, it continues to fulfill its payment obligations to healthcare providers, making significant financial efforts. The organization said that “the settlements for medical professionals regarding consultation orders are fulfilled within each half of the month as agreed.” This practice is intended to maintain regularity in provider compensation.
Regarding outpatient procedures, ISJ stated that in March it paid 40% of the services provided in December. The institute clarified that payments correspond to the current month and are made after billing control processes are completed, which usually take about two months. “There are no overdue payments, only commitments corresponding to the current period,” according to ISJ.
ISJ also addressed recent delays in March, attributing them to a concentration of non-working days during Holy Week. This situation required adjustments in administrative processes and payment execution. The institute emphasized that these were not overdue debts but part of standard operational timelines.
