Instituto de Seguros de Jujuy warns of fraudulent calls seeking member information

The Instituto de Seguros de Jujuy has issued a warning to its members about fraudulent calls and social media contacts requesting personal or membership information and offering unofficial benefits or services.

In the statement, the institute emphasized: “The Institute does NOT request personal, banking information or credentials via calls, messages, WhatsApp or social networks.”

It also clarified that all official communication is conducted only through institutional channels and the official phone line 0810-777-72583. The message continued: “Do not provide information, do not respond nor carry out procedures without verifying the contact. In these cases, block, report and inform the Institute through official channels.”

This alert follows recent reports of attempts to collect sensitive data from members using unofficial means.
