The Instituto de Seguros de Jujuy (ISJ) announced on April 2 that it will hold a meeting with healthcare providers to strengthen institutional relationships and ensure quality care for its members. The agenda will include key topics such as payments for health services.
This initiative is intended to reinforce dialogue between the ISJ and its network of providers, aiming to maintain effective collaboration and address concerns related to service delivery. According to the ISJ, it continues to meet its payment obligations with providers, making significant financial efforts despite current challenges.
The organization said that payments for medical consultations are processed within each half-month period as previously agreed upon. For outpatient procedures, the ISJ reported that in March it paid 40% of the services rendered in December. Payments are tied to the completion of billing control processes, which typically take about two months.
The ISJ clarified that there are no overdue payments; rather, all commitments correspond to ongoing periods once administrative checks have been completed. Delays observed in March were attributed mainly to an increased number of non-working days during Holy Week, which required adjustments in administrative procedures and payment execution.
The upcoming meeting is part of ongoing efforts by the ISJ to support transparent communication with healthcare professionals and ensure timely fulfillment of financial commitments.
