The Instituto de Seguros de Jujuy (ISJ) announced on Apr. 2 that it will hold a meeting with health service providers to discuss key institutional topics, including payments for medical services. The organization said the aim is to strengthen dialogue and ensure quality care for its members.
This meeting is important as it addresses ongoing concerns about timely payments and the relationship between ISJ and healthcare professionals. The institution said it continues to fulfill its payment obligations to providers, making significant financial efforts in the process.
According to ISJ, payments for medical consultations are processed within each half-month period as previously agreed upon with professionals. Regarding outpatient services, the organization reported that in March it paid 40% of December’s services.
The ISJ clarified that current payments correspond to recent months and are made after billing control processes are completed, which typically take about two months. The statement emphasized there are no overdue payments—only those pending within the normal processing period.
Delays experienced during March were attributed by ISJ to an increased number of non-working days due to Holy Week, requiring adjustments in administrative procedures and payment execution.
Looking ahead, the organization indicated that continued efforts will be made both administratively and financially to maintain regular communication with providers and ensure timely compensation.
