Jujuy Energía y Minería Sociedad del Estado (JEMSE) participated in the recent Global Game Jam Jujuy 2026, highlighting its support for technological innovation and local talent development. The event challenged participants to create video game prototypes within a limited timeframe, with JEMSE providing access to key information about the province’s productive matrix. This allowed developers to incorporate real data on Jujuy’s resources and energy potential into their projects.

During the event, JEMSE awarded a Special Mention to VUKO Studio for developing an educational video game focused on renewable energies. The game places players in a futuristic setting where they must activate different renewable energy sources to progress through the story.

According to JEMSE, “The remarkable aspect of this project was not only its gameplay but also how the team managed to incorporate knowledge about what is produced in our land. Through its narrative, the game educates and raises awareness about the importance of energy transition, transforming technical concepts into an interactive and dynamic experience.”

The recognition aims to encourage young creators to continue exploring the intersection between technology and strategic provincial resources. As stated by JEMSE, “With this gesture, we seek to stimulate creativity in future projects, demonstrating that the knowledge industry and the energy industry can feed each other to generate added value and new opportunities for people from Jujuy.”
