The Ministry of Education in Jujuy reported full implementation of the Provincial Literacy Plan throughout 2025. All educational institutions in the province are now carrying out activities under this plan, which has involved collaboration between school leaders, supervisors, and field agents.
All supervisory teams have included literacy guidelines in their annual plans to maintain continuity in teaching and support for schools.
A network of 130 āAlfa Schoolsā has been established across all educational regions. These schools receive focused local support and specific teaching materials.
Ongoing teacher training is a key part of the plan. More than 1,200 teachers took part in Literacy Workshops during two sessions held this year.
Nearly 5,000 educators attended courses such as āNeurosciences and Emotion for Teaching,ā led by HernĆ”n Aldana, and āUniversal Design for Learning,ā with Silvana Corso. Jujuy also hosted the Regional Supervisors Meeting, organized by the Ministry of Education together with the Ministry of Human Capital. This event marked the end of literacy training for supervisory teams from five northern provinces.
The social and community aspect of the plan includes participation from 13 municipalities that organize educational spaces, fairs, workshops, and awareness campaigns to strengthen ties between schools and communities.
Evaluation tools were applied at all three educational levels as part of the Evaluar-Me 2025 Program. Feedback was collected through surveys involving teachers, administrators, and field agents.
“Literacy became a strategic education policy in 2025 to strengthen fundamental learning from early childhood,” according to a statement from education authorities.
