The Ministry of Education and the Agency of Science, Technology and Innovation in Jujuy announced on Apr. 2 that they are working together to organize the 2026 Science Fair. The collaboration will focus on technical, operational, and educational aspects of the event.
Gabriela Camacho, provincial coordinator of the Science Fair, said this during a meeting with ministry officials. The meeting was led by Carolina Requelme, Secretary of Educational Management, and Nancy Chiliguay, Secretary of Socio-Educational Policies.
During the meeting, participants discussed how schools will participate in early stages and what criteria will be used to select projects for zonal rounds. Plans were also made for the provincial stage, which is considered a lead-up to national participation. The national event is scheduled to take place in October at venues in Jujuy, San Luis, and Misiones. Organizers also began preparations for a Higher Education Congress linked to these activities.
Training activities for teachers have already started as part of preparations for the fair. A national seminar organized by INFOD began recently and will continue through May. After this seminar ends, additional training sessions will be held locally for supervisors, school leaders, and teachers from all educational regions who wish to participate.
The joint efforts are intended to ensure that educators across Jujuy are well-prepared for each phase leading up to both provincial and national events.
