For the first time, teachers in Jujuy received permanent appointments in December rather than February. The Ministry of Education, through the Provincial Board for Teacher Qualification, offered tenured positions to early childhood and primary education teachers during a ceremony at the Malvinas neighborhood complex.
DarĆo AbĆ”n, president of the Provincial Board for Teacher Qualification, said: āThe granting of tenured positions is a significant achievement for education in the province, as it guarantees job stability and recognition of educatorsā careers, ensuring continuity in teaching for our children.ā
This event was traditionally held in February but was moved forward to December this year. The change aims to improve organizational, pedagogical, and social aspects related to teacher appointments.
According to the Ministry of Education, these actions are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen teaching careers and encourage professional development among educators with the goal of improving educational quality.
