The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Jujuy has announced a new air route connecting Jujuy and Córdoba, with three weekly flights scheduled to begin in April. The initiative aims to improve connectivity and support the growth of tourism and commerce between the two provinces.
The agreement was reached by Federico Posadas, Minister of Culture and Tourism of Jujuy, and Diego Valdecantos, Secretary of Tourism, together with representatives from FlyBondi airline. According to the ministry, this move is part of an ongoing strategy to expand routes and strengthen Jujuy’s position as a travel destination within Argentina.
“This new direct connection represents a strategic step to continue consolidating Jujuy as one of the fastest-growing destinations in Argentina, making access easier from one of the most important hubs in the country,” said officials.
Córdoba was chosen due to its significant tourist market, national and international connections, and traveler profile interested in authentic experiences. The region’s visitors are drawn to nature, living culture, and regional cuisine—qualities that Jujuy offers across its four regions: Quebrada, Puna, Valles, and Yungas.
“With this new route, Jujuy continues strengthening its strategic positioning, promoting sustained sector growth and generating more opportunities for local development,” added authorities.
