The government of Jujuy announced on March 10 a new provincial registry for wineries, vineyards, and businesses that receive tourists. The initiative aims to organize and increase the visibility of activities related to wine tourism by bringing them together under the Rutas del Vino de Jujuy circuit.
Diego Valdecantos, secretary of Tourism for the province, said the registry will help identify which businesses offer wine-related experiences and make it easier to include them in tourist circuits. “The idea is to organize the existing offerings and give greater visibility to wineries and vineyards that welcome visitors. With this tool we can work more directly on promoting the Rutas del Vino and support providers to improve the experiences they offer,” Valdecantos said.
Businesses that register will be able to join Jujuy’s official tourism offerings and participate in promotional activities. They will also have access to training, technical assistance, and support for obtaining funding aimed at developing new experiences for visitors.
Registration is open to establishments already offering these types of activities in the province. The process is carried out through a form managed by the Inspection area of the Secretariat of Tourism.
Wine tourism has expanded in recent years across different areas of Jujuy, with wineries and vineyards adding guided tours and tastings alongside their production activities. The new registry seeks to strengthen this segment within Jujuy’s broader tourism sector.
