The Ministry of Education in Jujuy has expanded its efforts to enhance digital education, science, robotics, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) projects across the province. These initiatives were carried out through the Directorate of Educational Innovation and reached a significant portion of local schools.
According to the ministry, technical and pedagogical support was provided by the Digital Education area to 513 schools in person and another 244 institutions remotely. This outreach covered 80.5% of the educational system. The interventions included monitoring connectivity in schools, improving use of technological equipment, and offering technical solutions through School Technical Referents.
A total of 171 training workshops were organized with participation from 4,621 teachers. The training sessions focused on using mobile digital classrooms for teaching purposes, management software Aguapey, artificial intelligence training programs, STEAM workshops, and other activities coordinated by the Center for Educational Innovation.
The Center also led projects that had an impact on students throughout the province. A reported 3,747 children and adolescents took part in activities related to robotics, programming, art, science, and multimedia production. Additionally, 88 students represented Jujuy at the Robotics Cup while another 1,711 worked on projects within their school spaces.
Open community events were also held as part of these efforts. An artistic intervention using augmented reality was implemented under the project āLetās Talk About Grooming.ā In addition to these initiatives, 22 robotics kits were distributed to outstanding teams during the semifinals of the Robotics Cup 2025.
