The provincial government announced on April 10 that it will advance the payment of an extraordinary bonus for public administration workers, recognizing Labor Day. The bonus amount will be 100,000 pesos, which is double the value given last year, according to official information.
Officials said this measure is part of the government’s commitment to address current economic conditions and responds to requests made by representatives of state workers. The accreditation of the additional amount was originally scheduled for the end of April but will now be paid in mid-April.
The government stated that these actions are meant to support public sector employees and help maintain their income amid ongoing economic challenges. “In this way, the Government of Jujuy continues adopting concrete measures to support state workers and sustain their income capacity under current economic conditions,” officials said.
In a separate development, following a complaint submitted through the official Consumer Defense website by a resident from Perico on April 5, authorities ordered the preventive and mandatory withdrawal from the market of Ilolay Kids chocolate milk (lot W027 S5P02). The complainant reported finding rodent remains inside one package of this product. This action was formalized through Resolution 63.
