The Government of the Province of Jujuy announced on March 30 that it is continuing to implement the ‘Electronic Auction System’ through the Ministry of Finance and Economy. The system aims to modernize public management and generate resources by selling or auctioning off unused assets held by various provincial government agencies.

The initiative focuses on converting and liquidating items such as scrap materials, vehicles including patrol cars, ambulances, and general transport units. The funds raised are intended to purchase new equipment and support the efficient operation of state departments.

Officials said that as a result of this method, new vehicles have been acquired for use in areas related to health care, security, and other sectors. They added that the electronic platform streamlines daily operations by allowing multiple auctions with different types of goods at once while reducing costs.

The process also benefits from specialized teams who manage electronic auctions and related functions. Those interested in participating must register at subastas.jujuy.gob.ar where they can find terms and conditions for each auction. Access is also available via the official website hacienda.jujuy.gob.ar by clicking a button at the bottom of the page.

Authorities stated their commitment to continue improving processes and transforming resources as part of ongoing efforts to modernize public administration.
