The Government of Jujuy, through Lacta Jujuy and the Ministry of Health, will present provincial certifications to 66 Primary Health Care Centers (CAPS) that support breastfeeding, as well as to 39 health professionals who promote this strategy in their communities.

The official ceremony is scheduled for December 12 at 10 a.m. at the Cabildo de Jujuy. This event marks the conclusion of a year-long collaborative effort aimed at promoting and supporting breastfeeding as an essential tool for future development.

According to officials, “Breastfeeding reduces healthcare costs in both public and private sectors, boosts cognitive development in babies, strengthens economies, and gives children a healthy start in life, which will have a positive impact at every subsequent stage.”

These initiatives align with broader public health strategies focused on early childhood development and cost-effective healthcare interventions.
