On November 28, the Ciudad de las Artes building in Jujuy hosted the Regional Meeting of School Support Teams 2025. The event was organized by the Department of Institutional Support under the Directorate of Comprehensive Educational Support at the Ministry of Education.
The meeting brought together technical teams from Salta, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Jujuy, and Catamarca. Participants discussed ways to improve support for educational paths, focusing on both structural aspects and individual processes. The main theme was “Current Challenges in Supporting Educational Trajectories in Complex Contexts.”
The opening ceremony was led by Miriam Serrano, Minister of Education; María Inés Franck, Director of Educational and Cultural Strategies for Extension at the Ministry of Human Capital; and Julieta Yamin Squicciarini, Director of Comprehensive Educational Support.
In her speech, Serrano emphasized: “the importance of the meeting to reflect and share knowledge on this subject so as to strengthen inclusion, equity and continuity in all students’ educational journeys.”
María Inés Franck stated: “support is fundamental not only for students but also for professionals; it is essential to improve educational quality and overcome challenges faced in the classroom.”
A notable presentation was given by psychologist Mariano Cranco. He addressed “The role of guidance teams in today’s schools: between pedagogical support and subjective care.”
The meeting covered topics such as networked work and intersectorality; subjectivities and urgencies within schools; coexistence and relationships in school life; substance use and new social issues; changes in guidance teams; transformation in relationships; and care and self-care in educational work.
The event received an official declaration of Educational Interest through Resolution No. 9289 due to its focus on current problems affecting different regions across Argentina.
