After four years of collaboration with UNICEF and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), the Forum of Ministers for Adolescent Education concluded its 2022-2025 cycle. The forum has served as a platform to support changes in secondary education across Argentina.
The final meeting brought together technical teams specializing in planning and secondary education from Buenos Aires City, as well as the provinces of Córdoba, Chaco, Misiones, Jujuy, Mendoza, Río Negro, La Pampa, and Tucumán. Participants discussed their progress and shared experiences developed collectively during the 2022-2025 period.
Over these four years, the forum held 12 meetings involving ministers of education, officials, and technical teams. It facilitated sharing experiences related to transforming secondary schools and promoted the use of strategic planning tools and indicator tracking. A microsite was also developed to share regulations and technical documents. The forum organized training spaces with specialists and produced relevant evidence on adolescent education.
At the conclusion of this cycle, participating jurisdictions emphasized that the forum became an essential space for developing public policies aimed at strengthening secondary education nationwide.
