The province of Jujuy launched a new direct flight connection to Córdoba on April 4, with the inaugural Flybondi service arriving at Gobernador Horacio Guzmán International Airport. The event was attended by Federico Posadas, Minister of Culture and Tourism; Diego Valdecantos, Secretary of Tourism; Melina Ainstein, Director of Tourism Promotion; and Santiago García Gnecco, Coordinator of Tourism Promotion.

Officials said expanding connectivity remains central to Jujuy’s tourism and economic development. The arrival also included Javier Soto, Commercial Director for Flybondi, who said the new route not only increases connectivity but will allow more people to travel between the provinces.

This direct connection is described as a strategic step in making Jujuy more accessible by reducing travel distances and increasing visitor numbers from one of Argentina’s main tourist markets. During the reception, authorities said: “The start of this route not only improves connectivity but opens new opportunities for tourism growth, cultural exchange and productive development.”

With this service launch, Jujuy aims to strengthen its national position by supporting a network that enables sustained sector growth and allows more travelers to discover the province’s diverse landscapes, cultures and experiences.
