The vice governor and president of the Jujuy Legislature, Alberto Bernis, and the head of the Notary Association of Jujuy, Ramiro Eduardo Gálvez, signed a cooperation agreement on April 8 in preparation for the First Four-Monthly Assembly 2026 of the Federal Council of Argentine Notaries. The assembly is scheduled to take place on April 17 in Purmamarca.
The agreement was signed in the office of the Presidency of the Legislature with notary Patricia Aguilera present. The event will bring together representatives from all Argentine provinces as well as from Buenos Aires City, establishing itself as an important occasion for notaries at a national level.
Under this agreement, members from the stenographers’ department of the Chamber of Deputies will participate during the main session on April 17 to ensure accurate transcription of discussions held at the assembly.
Organizers say hosting this event positions Jujuy as a key location for coordination among Argentine notaries nationwide. During the signing ceremony, Bernis expressed his appreciation to those organizing and thanked them for inviting him to participate. He also said he was pleased to support this nationally significant initiative.
Gálvez said that presidents and vice presidents from all provincial notary associations across Argentina have been invited and that around 130 notaries are expected to attend in Purmamarca. He explained that meetings will be held separately by groups: one gathering for association presidents and another for junior notaries with less than eight years’ professional experience.
Gálvez added that “the Federal Council will publish conclusions since within our field it is responsible for sharing reports from each meeting.”
