The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Human Development in Jujuy have agreed to work together to improve transportation conditions for teachers working in rural schools that operate on a special schedule. The agreement was reached during a meeting at the Ministerial Complex, attended by Education Minister Daniela Teseira, Human Development Minister Marta Russo Arriola, Transport Secretary Pablo Giachino, and Eladio Vázquez, president of the Susques municipality.
As part of the plan, regular transport services will now arrive at the Community Integration Center (CIC) in Susques. This facility is equipped to provide direct assistance to teachers who must continue their journey to nearby areas. Teachers will have access to a waiting room with amenities such as hot water, restrooms, shelter, and protection from adverse weather.
The Ministry of Human Development will supply necessary items for teacher comfort at the CIC. The Susques Municipal Commission will assign staff to support operations at the center.
Transport companies have started maintenance work on vehicles used for these routes. Additionally, satellite antennas are being installed at key locations along travel routes to ensure communication during journeys.
“The Government of the Province reaffirms its commitment to continue working with various agencies to manage solutions that benefit teachers and ensure continuity of school activities in all regions,” according to an official statement.
