Provincial authorities from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Jujuy are preparing to welcome the first tourist of the 2026 summer season. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7, at 10:20 a.m., when flight 1512 arrives at Gobernador Horacio Guzmán International Airport.
This reception marks the official start of seasonal tourism in the province, continuing a tradition that highlights Jujuy’s commitment to its tourism sector during one of its busiest periods. According to the Ministry, “This action is part of the Ministry’s strategy to showcase Jujuy’s tourist attractions and strengthen the welcoming message that the province extends to those who choose to discover its landscapes, traditions, and experiences. A tradition that reaffirms institutional commitment to the tourism sector in one of the times with the highest flow of visitors.”
