The Ministry of Education of Jujuy announced that the National Learning Assessment Operation, known as Aprender 2025, will take place across Argentina on Wednesday, November 12. The assessment targets sixth-year primary school students and will proceed without class suspension.
In Jujuy province, approximately 13,400 students from 381 primary schools are expected to participate. The evaluation aims to assess student learning levels and gather information about their educational environments.
According to the Ministry, “Aprender is a national standardized assessment tool that allows for the collection of evidence about the educational situation of students.” The results are described as “a fundamental tool for analysis, reflection, and decision-making aimed at improving teaching and learning in the education system.”
On the day of the assessment, students will complete three booklets: Language, Mathematics, and a Student Questionnaire that includes questions about their experiences and learning contexts. All responses are anonymous.
Teachers from evaluated sections will fill out a Teacher Questionnaire covering their training, career paths, and teaching strategies. School leadership teams will answer a Principal Questionnaire focused on professional experience, institutional resources, and implemented pedagogical strategies.
The Ministry reiterated that “the results are a fundamental tool for analysis, reflection, and decision-making aimed at improving teaching and learning in the education system.”
